So I have already called Verizon to complain about this issue and apparently they claim there is no problem and this is normal.  I pay hundreds of dollars to not be able to use my smartphone.  I have to connect to WI-FI just to browse the web.  Consistently getting "No data Connection" message when attempting OOKLA Speedtests.  Can someone please explain why I see giant billboards promising 40% faster speeds on LTE-A (which by the way isnt new technology like VZW wants uninformed people to believe) and I can't even get EVDO Rev A speeds on my phone.  I have tried using different phones so I know the problem is not a hardware one on my end.

Is anyone else in the DC (downtown) area experiencing abnormally slow speeds as well? If this doesnt get fixed I will be forced to leave verizon for a provider who can provide better connectivity and service

Slow speeds are never acceptable. We want to make sure you are getting the blazing speeds you are expecting. How long have you had this issue with your speeds? What device do you have? Do you notice speeds are better in a certain time of day? Are you inside or outside with these speeds?
