My LTE home WAN connection drops at least once per day. I use it as a backup WAN with auto failover so the impact is negligible but it is not normal. I see other people on 5G experiencing the same thing with no fix in sight. I also can't update the firmware due to error that lots of others also get. There is no way I could rely on this as the only Internet connection to my home. Typically drops are only for a couple of minutes but they have been occasionally several hours. The only reason I know it is happening is by getting a notification from my Firewalla router where I have setup multiple WAN support.

I had the old 1600 series router with gigabit connection
i used to have optimum,so years ago I had ran a cat6 wire from optimum router to another router at far end of house as wifi is spotty there
when I got Verizon I never bothered with an extender as I already had ran wire,,
i never had any major outages other than weather related
a month ago I had verizon add another tv and when tech was there
he told I should upgrade to cube router. After he left e very day after the Internet would drop one or twice a day
tech came back multiple times
changed line from house to ont
ont to new router
still had same issue
i search google I found somebody who had same issue because the second router was set as a router not an access point
which caused a malfunction in cube router and it would reboot
i am not a pc guy but I do now electronics and this seemed plausible
havent had any drops since
hope it helps for you
i had Verizon back
