VOIP?

So I just got Verizon 5G home Internet.  My plan has a phone number associated with it that is separate from my cell phone plan numbers.

Can I use my 5G Home Internet phone number as my number for VOIP?  If so, how do I do it?

{I am leaving a different internet provider which gave me a "landline" phone number that I used for $10 a month by using an old fashioned landline phone.]

Thanks,

Ken

Hello there! Thank you so much for reaching out. Great questions, but no you wouldn't be able to use your 5G home internet number, as this is just a place holders for out systems and it doens't allow inbound calls. Did you find this helpful?

So can I in any way use my Verizon 5G Home Internet to have a home phone line (like I could with Wave)?  If so, how do I do it and what does it cost?

Thanks

Great question! Your Verizon 5G Home Internet will connect to any Wi-Fi capable device. While we don't provide a VOIP service for our Home Internet service, it's possible that another provider may be able to provide that servcie to you. Please, respond to our Private Note, so we can take a closer look at your account.
