How do I receive my gift card after setting up my 5g home internet, I've tried everything I've already selected the Amazon gift card, but it has not been emailed to me

Having questions about claiming, redeeming or checking the status of your Amazon Gift Card from the 5G Home Plus Promo offer? Here are some notes, or steps to take that can help:

  1. The redemption process begins upon the activation of your qualifying 5G Home Plus Plan.
    - Once activation is confirmed, qualified Home Plus customers will have a notification tile within your My Verizon Online / My Verizon app after logging into their account.

  2. Upon redemption, Your eligible Gift Card will be delivered electronically within 24-48 hours.
    - You can check your redemption status at https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/check-my-status

  3. Qualifying customer may also want to check their spam folder for the below Subject and Sender:
    - Email Subject: Your Gift Card has Arrived
    - Email Sender: YourWirelessRebate@YourWirelessRebateCenter.com

  4. If you still have questions about your gift card redemption, status and eligibility, please send @vzw_customer_support a message and a service representative can assist you.

Hi Peter,

So I spoke with customer service today and they looked at the account. It shows that both of my $200 amazon cards were redeemed on the 9th. I have received one via email but not the second one. There is no information about the processing of that one but it does show that my promotion is two-$200 Amazon gift cards and I did register both of them. That is my question....where is my second one?

Hi, I can't find any option to redeem for a gift card on the web version or in the MyVerizon app. I don't have a tile in my account either and I definitely signed up with the promotional offer in the app itself. It's been 3 (almost 4) weeks at this point!!

Good afternoon Whatscheesecake. Here's a great way to check on that gift card:


1 Sign in to My Verizon (online or app).
2 Navigate to the My Verizon account page.
3 Click on Get your choice on us: Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile under Make the Most of Your Plans.


Result: The customer is taken to the page to choose either the Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card. 


4 Do the following under the $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile:


Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.
Click Select.
Result: The customer is directed to the Blackhawk website to redeem the offer.


5 Follow instructions to complete the order.


Note: Customers must verify email address

The problem is that I don't have that tile under Make the most of your plans, even though I absolutely signed up with the promotion. And yes, I've activated, registered, and have been using my home wifi for almost a month now. Please help.

Wanted to give an update and my timeline to anyone else who's been frustrated by this whole process. The "tile" to select for the Amazon gift card appeared close to 5 weeks after I registered my 5G home device. The email with the link to actually redeem/load the gift card into my account came 1.5 weeks after I selected (definitely not "24-48 hours"...).

The tracking number given after I selected for the gift card did nothing as their Check Rebate Status page showed no record of my redemption. Talking to customer service (jumping through hoops with different department reps telling me to talk to the other...) finally gave me an assurance that my gift card  is in their internal system but somehow hasn't updated to their external Check Status system? At this point I've already given up trying to use the money for the holidays so I just wanted to make sure I will receive it. At some point. 

Speaking of customer service, while it took some time to get in touch,  I highly recommend asking for a Secure Chat  link! Not sure what the actual name for the link is, but I received it after a couple  private messages with a support rep named John. Make sure you check your private messages (the envelope symbol on the upper right corner of this page). Once you have that link, you'll be able to reach an actual person who can help in real time. While I never explicitly created a help ticket with "escalation" (that I'm aware of), the reps in that Secure Chat link were at least able to make sure that I will get my gift card (however late it might be). Please be nice to them as they have no control over when the gift cards get released, but they are able to at least check their internal system to make sure your promo didn't get "lost". 

I'm in no way excusing Verizon for how disastrously disappointing  this whole promo redemption turned out. Just wanted to give some start-to-end timeline to anyone else who found it exceedingly difficult to get  clear information on what is going on.

It’s the 13th and I’m still not seeing the tile pop up like I was previously told. I’ve been told four different dates now and none of them are working out.

I’m having the same issue. I was able to select the Xbox but the Amazon gifts are greyed out and I can not select. I’ve received the email that reward is ready to redeem but can’t select it. Please assist. I’ve picked up and activated the home internet services.

Hi Deb,

I also cannot check status on my amazon card and never received an email showing it was being processed so when I follow your link I cannot check it that way because I do not have a promotion number.  I should receive mine today or tomorrow but it seems mine is grayed out and disappeared to even check.

The second 48 hour  waiting period is past.  I claimed the offer online at myverizon.com.  The tile disappeared and no email with the Amazon gift card has shown.  This process has so many holes.
