200 dollar Amazon gift card ISSUES. CANNOT redeem

Signed up for 5G Home plus internet with promised incentives of an XBOX, Verizon Gift card, and 200 dollar amazon gift card.  I spent over an hour troubleshooting with a representative and seemed to have gone in circles trying to figure out why I cannot redeem my Amazon gift card.  Very frustrating and finally a ticket was "created" and for review however the process takes 7-10 days i was told.  I did not receive a confirmation email after I requested  a confirmation email or number because they said it has to be reviewed first.  Will be keeping an eye out for that email however I feel as if I will not be hearing from them based on the discussions I have been reading on here.  Will someone from Verizon please reach out if they can help resolve this issue for me?  

 

As for the other two incentives, the xbox states it is pending and the verizon gift card I have to wait until sometime in Feb. to redeem it, I am skeptical of the whole process until one of these come through...

I know just how important it is to make sure you receive any eligible promotions, mce2. I, too, signed up for this promotional period and have not been able to get the tiles myself. The great news is that we have an escalation path for each one, so that we can get them to you as quickly as possible. It sounds like the escalation was submitted for the Xbox and the Amazon gift card, if I am understanding correctly. For the Verizon $100 gift card, you can actually manually redeem that online at our rebate center. I have similar problem. I was told I would get $200 gift card, Disiny  plus for six months,  So far I have not seen anything, I need to unplug my router every Thursday night in order to get Prime on my TV. Never had the problem with Comcast. Very disappointing.

This is for the Home 5g plus internet, I still have no solution no one has contacted me about my ticket, I have heard nothing back from Verizon about why I cannot claim my Amazon gift card. Looks like my next step will unfortunately be the BBB…

mce2, we understand that you're having issues with your gift card. We had encountered some hiccups with the promotion when it was first launched but were able to resolve it on the 12/13/23. The following steps have helped our customers claim their cards, please give them a try. 

 

1. Sign in to My Verizon (make sure you do this on the website not the app).
2. Navigate to the My Verizon account page.
3. Click on Get your choice on us: Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile under Make the Most of Your Plans.

 

Result: You will be taken to an interstitial page to choose either the Amazon Echo Show

10 (3rd Generation) or the $200 Amazon.com Gift Card.

 

4. Do the following under the $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile:

Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.


Click Select.


Result: You are directed to the Blackhawk website to redeem the offer.


5. Follow instructions to complete the order.

 

Note: You must verify email address
