Amazon $200 gift card

I switched over to VZ on 11/12 and I was promised a $200.00 gift card  to Amazon and was told after registration I have up to 60 days to register it would take 24-48 hours to be emailed to me.  Nothing! Was told to go on the app same thing. The email saying I completed registration has the link but when I go to Amazon link there’s no option to redeem. I’ve talked to multiple agents saying that they have escalated and filled out forms I should get my card with in  a week or 24-48 today I called and was told I have to wait 60 days not what the email says! I’m going to reach out to a lawyer for false advertisement and sad part is I’m a new customer. Xfinity would never do this. I should have stayed with them.

  • I switched from Xfinity to Fios on 11/17/23.  I applied for the $200 Amazon  gift card at the Verizon store. The Verizon salesperson handled it. As of 12/01/23, I have not received it.  How long does it take?

Same exact thing has been told to me as well. First it was 24-48 hours after activation, nothing was sent via email I called a week later and then told it was escalated and it would appear in email in 3-4 days, that never occurred so I called back a week later and was told I had to wait 30 days then they corrected themselves and said I should have already received it and they would call back the next day. They never called back, now a week later I am on the phone as I am typing and they have told me I need to wait 2-3 billing cycles. total FRAUD by Verizon.

It is certainly important to have the correct expectations set, especially when an offer redemption is not working and it has to be escalated, TJWENZ. I certainly apologize for any misinformation you may have received. Typically, the escalation form takes 1-2 days for a turn around, after which the rebate center handles the processing of the gift card, which can take 4-6 weeks. If you've already had this promo escalated, you'd receive it via email within that timeframe. Otherwise, please let us know, and we can take a closer look into the promotion.
