Can't redeem $200 reward

I am unable to redeem my $200.00 reward gift card.  I was told as part of a promotion,  if I purchased their 5g internet,  I  would get an xbox or $200.00 home depot gift card.  I chose the $200.00 gift card. I went online,  logged in my account , hit redeem reward, and got an error message.  I have tried on my phone and on my desk top without any luck.  I have called and spoke to a Verizon representative  and still no reward.  I have even posted on this forum. I received a message saying that someone would inbox me privately.  No one has inboxed me.  Why is Verizon lying to their customers about this promotion? Why stoop to such low standards of tricking people to buy their products? I have read back as far as January of this year, with people having this same issue.   So it can't be a mistake,  because they have had plenty of time to correct this error.

The same thing just happened to me! Is there any way you can direct me to where you saw other people talking about this? I’d like get in contact with anyone and everyone who has this issue and see what our options are

It's in old posts on the Verizon community. It goes all the way back a year. Many people are complaining of getting error messages, when they try to retrieve the promotional reward, they were promised.  I had to call Verizon directly many times about this situation.  And was told they had to put in a escalation ticket. I was told that it should be issued out in 5-10 days via my email.  This is after literally calling them about 5-6 times over a 2-3 week period. Every time they I talked to someone,  I  asked them when should I call back if no results. Each time I called to follow up, it was as if I never called.  If I were you, I would keep calling over and over. Ask them to put in a escalation ticket.  And make sure they do this before your expiration date.

Same thing for me currently.  They had a $200 Target gift card promotion when I signed up for their internet, plus a Nintendo Switch.  I was able to get the Switch with no issue.    I have tried multiple times to get the gift card on line.  Initially my antivirus flagged the 3rd party site Verizon sent me to as a phishing site and I got a warning NOT to go.  I clicked navigate anyway and .... nothing.  I've tried since then with it going nowhere.  I did a live chat (which took over an hour to slog through because of very very slow chat response times) and was sent a link to "copy and paste" that would not copy.  I clicked it directly and it went to the same place on the verizon site to redeem the reward, and I clicked on the proper section and got the same result.  The chat person said they'd escalate it and I'd hear back from Verizon.  It's been over a week... nothing.  Looking at all these others who have dealt with this - this seems to be a common problem.  I will be calling in during the week now to hopefully get someone to actually provide help.

I have the same problem here. I called Verizon 4 times and opened a ticket for this issue. They always close the ticket by saying "resolved", but there is no solution. I wanted to cancel my subscription, but they made me wait for 20 minutes on the phone and suddenly lost the connection. I am trying to connect to the call center, but due to not receiving the message, I can not connect to customer service. When I last called them, I waited for 5 minutes. I could hear the people talking and laughing, but they did not answer the phone. It is the worst service I have ever seen. The first thing I will do is cancelling this internet. I can not believe how they are bad at customer service and rewards for their clients.
