Free 65" Amazon Fire Stick TV offer

Hello Verizon,   

April 23, 2024 was greeted at my door by Abbey and another outside sales rep.  Signed up with 3 qualified new cell phones and internet with offer at point of sale to receive a 65" Amazon Firestick TV.   Got set up to follow eligibility for the TV offer.  Even have the outside sales reps personal cell phone and thanked her for help- we spent over an hour together making sure details were correct.  

4/27/2024 at 11:30am talked to Sang Jon to follow up on offer on - he confirmed eligibility for the TV and walked through breakdown of billing.   

Called back same day 4/27/2024 at 2:10pm and talked to Nathan- very helpful he went deeper in breakdown and first bill all the way down to taxes and he also verified he sees everything good for  TV offer. 

Wednesday 05/08/2024 at 6:20pm - Manager Jared - helped with changing names on cell phones  and breakdown of bill.   Inquired about when I will be able to redeem TV offer to make sure I would look out for the email.  He verified I was eligible. 

06/14/2024 at 4:44 pm talked to Aiden - Called again to inquire about offer should be sent by July 3rd (said it was a 65 days after)  advised on the 3rd of July to go into My Offers and Claim TV offer it will be there.  Agent even  provided his personal work email to assist with fallout form if any issues getting TV offer claimed.  Assured me that if an offer at time of sale was offered and i see that you are eligible that will be honored no matter what.   

07/07/2024- 12:45pm Talked to Tammy - verified eligibility of the TV point of sale offer and confirmed  TV offer has been  submitted again with Fallout Form for review and someone will reach out by email or will call me directly.   No one ever called or emailed me. 

07/22/2024 - 11:54am - Talked to CJ - who helped with offer redemption - had to go to back end as well - shared I felt like I was just being told anything so I would have to keep calling with no offer that at time of sale it was all talk to get me to sign up with no incentive.  CJ assured me and said " I am eligible for the TV offer" he even went extra step and he verified with back end manager.  It was submitted again for review and he said it will be about 5 days and I will see offer in email.  No email. 

7/30/2024 at 1:05pm talked to Sandra needing assistance claiming offer - she immediately said offer expired in March and will not send me over to anyone to talk to -so we disconnected call 

7/30/2024 at 1:20pm - talking with Nicole - I'm still on the phone with them now -  at first said she was going to connect me with outside sales department - then stated has to do backend research - 1:55pm she asked me if i got a text from Amazon  and to respond to that text to verify account - no text ever came - I asked if she can do by email - she had to see if she could.  Then came back after backend research again - said Amazon offer declined due to some telecom verbiage.  I told her I did nothing wrong and did exactly what the agents told me to do.  I don't know their back end talk and none of that is anything I did wrong.  Talked with her and said that all the previous call agents verified I am eligible for offer, every single one of them at time of call.   They all said no problem you will get your TV.   I asked her to please be honest with me if they mislead me to get me to sign up with Verizon.  I feel I have been totally taken advantage of and now stuck still paying because I'm financing phones.  I asked if I could leave with no penalty and go back to Comcast - but of course that cant happen.  

She apologized profusely for all the agents who mislead me at Verizon.  I told her apologizing is a sign of quilt on Verizon's part- she agreed and said she is sorry.   She talked with backend and  could offer $200 target card /chrome book - what an insult but I get it that's all they would allow.  She checked with backend again and will cover 59.16 off my bill for month.    She went to backend again and came back and said she also submitted a request to ask for a $10 discount "if approved" will be the best she can do.   

I never asked for any type of discount - I would pay a high price any day for a company with integrity. She did not have to do that but no manager or supervisor would help her take the call so she was stuck with what she had- i get that. 

It was not this agents fault she was quite kind and the only one who told me I was not eligible for TV offer - i did ask that she quit saying that as it makes it sound as if I did something wrong.   I followed exactly what Verizon reps told me to do- nothing I did made me ineligible- I followed their direction to the T.  

Told her I was very hurt that i was taken advantage of by Verizon. 

They won -  It was a  good deceitful play on me.

The samething is happening to me  spoke to 6 different people no one came up with a resolution then they offer me a new phone for free but my bill will go up to 105 so basically wanted me to drop over 300 dollars cause my first bill is 194 wich is due on the 19th and then pay the 105 that's insane I told them no I didn't want the phone they can keep it
