Got shipped an empty box

I ordered a pair of META ray bans from the Verizon store and the box was empty tried to make a claim with fed ex as my ring camera clearly shows the box was tampered with, I never signed for the package but the delivery man scribbled a line so I tried contacting Verizon for help and all I get is shuffled around from one person to the next and no one can help. Fed ex told me that Verizon needs to initiate the claim but  Verizon states they will not not do so and I am now out the glasss and $400.00

Assuming you placed the order online, have you tried contacting Internet Order Support: 866-338-7390?  I'd provide as much evidence as possible showing the glasses were stolen and file a police report.  Maybe the cops can get some fingerprints from the package.  If all else fails, dispute the charge with your bank.

Yeah I tried Verizon customer service, their fraud dept, and direct sales none have a clue gave them my order number sent them ring camera footage showing clearly that the box was tampered with , each individual I spoke with had NO idea that there was a Verizon on line store that you can order from!!! Fed ex stated that they deliver even if there seems something wrong with the package and told me to contact Verizon to initiate the claim which Verizon will not do.  Ops will not send anyone out to fingerprint a box which I still have. The only silver  lining is that I paid with 2 $200 gift cards Verizon sent me for switching over to FIOS  so I am only now $30 for the difference I had to pay. Reading a lot of the posts on these forums it seems that this is a common theme in Verizon shipping out empty boxes. Seems to me they know this and can’t lie it be they just give out gift cards knowing that when you use them they send you nothing? Don’t know.
