Haven't received promotional XBox or Amazon goft card after two months!

In December, I signed up for Verizon home internet under the promise of receiving an Xbox Series S and a $200 Amazon gift card. However, over two months have passed, and I have yet to receive either of these items.

Despite multiple interactions with your representatives, including a call in January where I was informed that the Xbox Series S was out of stock and would be restocked by February 12th, I have not received any follow-up or resolution. Also, I redeemed the Amazon gift card on January 25th with the expectation of receiving it within 3-5 business days, but it has been significantly longer than that.

To make matters worse, when I followed up with your team, I was met with contradictory information, with some representatives claiming ignorance of the Xbox promo altogether.

I feel misled and deceived by this promotion, which appears to be nothing short of a sham.

The promotion was for wireless customers. To be more specific, it was an online-only offer to add 5G Home Plus internet, which included a promotion for an Xbox Series S valid through 11.27.23. However, after activating the home internet service, I never received an email to redeem the Xbox offer. Although I received the redemption offer for the $200 Amazon gift card by email and completed the process through the Verizon app, I have yet to receive anything.

Thanks for clarifying what you purchased to qualify for both promotions. I'm sorry there's been confusion on this end, and that hasn't cleared things up. I'd be happy to look at that with you, and go over things. I'm sending a Private Message so we can work on that together. -John

Damiansmith8787, that Xbox and Amazon gift card are great incentives to switch to Verizon's 5G Home Internet, and we want to make sure you're able to get them. Have you been able to redeem the promotions or did you not see the redemption tiles in your My Verizon app or the website?

I wanted to provide an update on my previous comment after a representative from Verizon reached out to me. They have submitted escalation forms for both the Xbox offer, which has a staggering turnaround time of 30-45 days, and the Amazon gift card offer. I have been told that I must wait an additional 4-6 weeks for a response regarding the status of the gift card.

Verizon representatives have informed me that there is no way to track updates on the escalation form submitted for the Xbox offer.

This marks the third time that an escalation form has been submitted on my behalf, yet the issue remains unresolved. The lack of transparency, prolonged processing times, and inability to track the status of escalations are deeply disappointing and frustrating.

I urge fellow customers to carefully consider these factors before engaging with Verizon's promotional offers.

File a complaint with the BBB. Verizon did the same thing to me, giving me the run around for months.

Did you finally get your Xbox?  I am still battling with them over this exact promotion.  I am at my wits end.

I did finally get it resolved after posting in the forum.  Every single telephone call was a minimum of 45 minutes and I got nowhere, other than feeling frustrated and cheated . (Psโ€ฆ Never once was I mean or rude to customer service, catch more flies with honey up bringing, but I was persistent in wanting answers). I came to this message board looking for help.  
An agent from this board responded to my individual post I created (not this chain of posts) and was able to get it resolved. It did take a few weeks, but I did receive the full promotion that I signed up under.  2023 Black Friday promotion was $200 Amazon GC and XBox X. 
I wish I could have billed them back for the 20+ hours I spent trying to hold them accountable for what was due to me after switching internet, 4 lines and 4 new iPhones (paid in full at the time of switch).

I hope you have the same luck!  Be kind and persistent.

Valperez, have you had any luck?  I have also been given the exact run around. Every time i call i get a different answer. One time I was even told I was not eligible for the Xbox.  After 3 escalations I did receive the $200 Amazon card but still no word on the Xbox.

Glad to read you got your $200.00 offer. Please elaborate, why were you advised you were not eligible for the Xbox promo? What other support explanations were you given?

I have the same issue. Redeemed the promotion in February and honestly forgot. My son asked me about the Xbox so I called verizon and they told me I never redeemed the promo even though when I log in it shows both promos as redeemed and the date of redemption. Really feels like a rug pull here and just makes me want to honestly cancel my service.
