Signed up for Home Internet and was offered an Xbox S console or a $200 Home Depot Gift card. The email I received giving me directions for claiming either didn't work. I've chatted, called, been transferred, hung up on, etc.
I can see the offer on my account but every time I try to claim it, it gives me a 'contact us' message. All I do is chase my tail.
Today when I tried to claim it again, got the same 'contact us' message plus the option to choose the Xbox S Console is no longer an option. Wonder when the option to claim the Home Depot card will disappear?
Apparently, the customer service reps can't even see your account any longer. They used to have top notch customer service. The last one I talked to had a rooster crowing in the back ground.

Has anyone gotten a resolution to this so far? I’ve been trying since Sept 7 when I became eligible for the Home Depot gift card. I did see the “for you on us” tile but whenever I tried to complete the process o got an error message. Have contacted Verizon customer service a number of times to resolve it to no avail. The first person said they put in an “escalated ticket” but it’s now been 5 business days and nothing. The person I spoke to today assured me they had just solved it and I would receive and “EGC” in my email today but I never got anything. And now the tile seems to have disappeared as if I did manage to claim the prize. It’s so frustrating to be offered an incentive and then have it be this hard to claim. I’m getting ready to report this as fraudulent.

So the exact same process for me, except I was told the electronic gift card will arrive in 4-6 weeks. The rep misspoke initially and said it wouldn’t be in my email, then she found additional information somehow and gave me that time frame. I assume I’d be the same for you. It’s been 3 weeks since and will update you if I receive anything.

I read the message that you sent a private message but there was no content .. just a statement to contact you for assistance. This is not resolving the issue .. it just keeps going on and one and running in circles. Just Honor the Home Depot $200 gift card option that was advertised when I signed up for 5G on =June 15, 2023.

I also am having the same issue . I was emailed a ticket number and no one has conta cted me . I am writing to the CEO Dan Mead .. There does not seem to be any other options as you can see on the community messages on the issue , verizon support is messaging individuals and saying they will be contacted but NO ONE from VERIZON is offering a solution to all of the commuity .

Still no resolution after over two months of promise after promise....my ticket was expedited, wait a week, wait five days. How can a company as big as Verizon have such a sorry, non-working app that either does nothing, or gives you a message that there are technical difficulties and to talk to support. I am done with this joke of a Home Depot gift card!

Has ANYONE gotten a resolution to this? I’m in the same boat. I was wondering if it was just me, and then I find this long thread that this is very much a reoccurring issue with the HD gift card redemption. That’s unacceptable honestly. I called in myself and was told my issue was being escalated and I would receive an email. That call was almost two weeks ago and I’ve got nothing to show for it. The tile for me to choose a gift option is still there, but the link definitely doesn’t work. If this doesn’t get resolved it is legitimate false advertising and that is just wrong from an established company like Verizon.

This has got to be a joke. The private message lead me to a chat with a “Verizon Social Media” team member - and they’re “resolution” was giving me the step by step instructions on how to redeem the gift card offer. Except that’s the whole issue that everyone is complaining about. We know how to redeem the offer. The site/link DOESNT WORK. It instantly gives an error message. And calling into Verizon apparently does nothing. The generic replies in this forum from “customer support” are frustrating at best and leading me to believe it’s just AI bots and not real people responding.

I wrote to CEO. Dan Meade … I attached every one of these Verizon messages that I have been sent but not one of them offer a resolution .

Also having this problem. I've called and chatted to several agents and they said they are putting a ticket in, but that leaves me with very little confidence this will be resolved.
Has ANYONE received the Home Depot Gift card or is this just a ploy from Verizon to get us to switch carriers?
