Signed up for Home Internet and was offered an Xbox S console or a $200 Home Depot Gift card. The email I received giving me directions for claiming either didn't work. I've chatted, called, been transferred, hung up on, etc.
I can see the offer on my account but every time I try to claim it, it gives me a 'contact us' message. All I do is chase my tail.
Today when I tried to claim it again, got the same 'contact us' message plus the option to choose the Xbox S Console is no longer an option. Wonder when the option to claim the Home Depot card will disappear?
Apparently, the customer service reps can't even see your account any longer. They used to have top notch customer service. The last one I talked to had a rooster crowing in the back ground.

I have been trying for days to redeem my fictitious Home Depot $200 gift card for signing up for Home Internet. I went to the store, spoke with a rep there who got another rep on the line (from a third world country), then got passed off to someone that told me "seven days." VERIZON, mail me an actual gift card and take down this nonsense website that serves no purpose. I'm getting ready to look for other service!

I am having exactly the same issue. Why would Verizon even try this dubious sale tactic. It will only get Verizon in trouble.

I cannot believe there are hundreds of people with the same issue wow Verizon
Verizon offers 5G home service in our area, and they offer a promotion for a Xbox or Home Depot gift card for signing up. I really like the service itself, it’s fast and reliable. BEWARE! This is a ska m. There is no way to actually get the promotion, get resolution or reach a manager with any accountability.
After signing up in June, I have spent time with a dozen customer support reps for a total of about 10 hours and it has turned into a fun pastime. Five months later, now in November, they are still promising to send me a gift card!
In October, I finally reached the department they setup to deal with fallout of all the promotions never being awarded and recorded the call with the rep. It is insanely entertaining. The customer service reps are ALL so nice and really try to fix the issue, but in the end they admit the corporation is counting on customers giving up in frustration. I will not give up. Ever

Hello good morning I have just tried to click on it I go to the tablet has the home Depot $200 gift card and I click on it and then I hit select in an I hit the terms and agreements and then I hit choose and nothing happens but now the other two options which I forgot what they were because I don't want either of them is grayed out so I only have the option of the home Depot card

I have talked with Jesse in customer support before! (Hi Jesse) , super nice and sympathetic.
But I STILL don’t have my gift card 3 months later! I feel bad for the customer service employees they are in a losing game.
I just can’t believe all these people have the same issue I do!! Come on Verizon!

Interesting side note: I had another promo later on for something on my wireless account (adding a new line got me AirPods). That showed up almost immediately under the "Make the Most of your Plan" section and is pending a claim. The Home Depot card NEVER showed up there.

It would be interesting to tally up the number of people that were completely unable to redeem this offer. Just based off of data on this site, it's a sizeable volume. I have yet to see anyone that said they got their card after talking with customer service. Situations like that are ripe for a class-action suit.

I, too, fell victim to a deceptive transaction. I was assured that I would receive a Nintendo Switch; however, instead, I was sent a Verizon gift card. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter through customer service, I have yet to receive the promised item.

I have the exact same issue. The email lists bogus instructions. Obviously because it's a cool offer no one knows anything. Email Quoted bleow:
