I signed up for the Verizon 5g home internet plus on Sunday 12/31/2023 because they have a promotion going on where you receive a free Xbox series x as well as a $200 Amazon gift card. The internet has been activated and running still have not received any “tiles” on the Verizon app regarding either of these “special” promotions or an email with any kind of help or information. I received an email when first signing up saying that my order qualifies me for all of these offers and I would like to redeem these special promotions seeing as that is the only reason I made the switch from cox internet. Would greatly appreciate help redeeming the promotions you offered to your new customers.

Did you ever get this resolved? I’m ready to go to AT&T. I have had so many problems with this.

We are here to help. We understand how important it is to be able to complete and receive your anticipated offer. Is the offer you are having issues with for Verizon Wireless or Verizon Fios?

No, still haven’t gotten my the promotions promised to me. Verizon should have just sent me emails allowing me to redeem the free Xbox series x and Amazon gift card but they just throw me in a circle. Give me this password…wait for this email…do you see any tiles showing up on your home page…you should receive something soon. Nothing I have not received anything and the help they provide is useless. They don’t do anything not to mention the service is terrible too. I switched from cox for these promotions and no one from the Verizon team has been helpful. Awful experience so far.

I signed up back in December as well and was told I qualify. I contacted support a day before the end of the promotion and they confirmed that I qualify. Since I was told by customer support that I qualify and that I would eventually receive it, I kept my service. Of course I didn't find out until last month that I'm not eligible because apparently my account has already redeemed and Xbox before. My dad also signed up for this promotion but under a separate account, we just have the same data plan. Verizon was not very specific in the terms and conditions about what is classified as an "account" and I thought since we were under DIFFERENT LOGIN CREDENTIALS that we would both qualify if we signed up for the service.

I had the same issue as multiple others, I saw the promo for the Xbox series x for switching and I did. It is now 03/6/2024 and I'm still waiting. Has countless classes and escalations, now I was just told it never existed. I am tired of being lied to by Verizon and I pay a lot of money for my Internet. It would be nice to get this free item I was promised for doing the promotion.

Being able to get the Xbox under the new promotion is awesome. I'm sorry there's been issues and some conflicting info coming from when you've reached out for help. Certinaly don't want that to be happening, and happy to clear things up. To start with, what eligble purchase did you make to qualify for the promotion? Also, did you complete the submission for the promo via My VZ?

I did qualify because I switched during the promo. And I didn't because one of your agents told me to wait until the day after it was done and I didn't know until I messaged the next day and they told me they would put it in for me since I messaged and tried to do it previously. And here we are months later of being promised I'm getting it sent out to me and nothing.

I’m having the same issue with Verizon. They do not want to honor their promotions. I feel like they hope we will just give up and move on with their Internet, expecting to lose some of their new customers they tried to dupe but the majority will remain. If my issue is not resolved soon I will drop Verizon.

I am having this same issue. I've been dealing with chat and customer service since 03/21/2024.
I chat with Mary via chat customer service, they had me call customer service and have customer service call the store. Rubin from call center customer care called the store and I spoke with Cameron. (Northfield Store - 80238) He said that there was a couple of weeks in December where this was offered and I was eligible. I told Mary that and she said they can't escalate it. I also spoke with Ed at customer service and he did some investigating.
I'm still unable to get this promotion I was promised!!!! Why is it this hard?!?!

iGreg01, naturally I want you to be able to get any promotion you qualify for. The Xbox Series X promotion did have some specific requirements, based on date and purchase location. In general can you confirm when you made your qualifying 5G Home purchase, and where was that purchase made? Online, in a store, over the phone?

I promised my nephews an Xbox they were so happily surprised to hear the joyful news their faces lit up with smiles. I need Verizon to hold up their end of the deal and come through for our family

Can you share with us when you made the eligible purchase of service for this offer so that we can investigate further? Additionally, can you share with us the service that was purchased so that we can pull up the specific details of that promotion to help investigate your experience.
