$200 Target Gift Card and Nintendo Switch

On 3/16/24 I signed up for 5G home internet & was promised a $200 TARGET gift card AND a Nintendo switch. I had one rep tell me after 60 days I should be able to see the offers and redeem them on the app. So I wait it out and nothing,  no offers or anything.

So I call on 7/15/24 and the rep “helped” me out gave her my address and email and she said I should be receiving everything on 7/20/24. Welp that day comes that’s there’s no email in regards to the gift card, so I’m like I doubt I’ll get the switch. I call in and get a rep who didn’t really know what I was talking about. I hang up and call back and get someone who kinda knows what I’m talking about but then says I’ll be charged for the switch?!?!  I immediately escalate to a supervisor and so the supervisor was helpful on one part. She escalated the issue and said it’d take 5 business days for me to hear back. 

Well this morning 7/24/24 I got an email for me to redeem the switch BUT they sent the WRONG gift card information!!!! They sent over a $350 gift card offer to Samsung…I DO NOT USE ANYTHING SAMSUNG!!! I call in, in hopes to get this fixed and the first rep kept giving me the run around on different promos and so I asked for a supervisor and she gave me the run around on that aswell…then hung up on me!! 

I then call back and this rep knew exactly what I was talking about,  he stated that the previous supervisor used the wrong promo on the escalation form and that he’d resubmit a new escalation but that can take 4-6 WEEKS?!?! Are you kidding me Verizon?! Why is it this much of a hassle to get something YOU offered me to sign up?! I just want this solved correctly and be done with it all. Husband thinks we should just cancel our services! Ugh!!!
