5 g gateway connection issue

For the first month when my home internet was new, it worked fine. It suddenly dropped from 2 bars to one bar. I received emails from Verizon saying I was only getting 4 g and suggested I move the modem to a different spot. I tried 6 different locations with NO improvement. I tried resolving it with chat, but they couldn’t fix it. I called and had a support representative troubleshoot the gateway. Still NO improvement. The only suggestion was to move the gateway modem bc it was under the tv. I moved it. Still only 1bar.
