5G Home Internet unreliable

This is happening every day mostly at night. It will sometimes run 300 down and 24 up but this is becoming ridiculous. According to there network team the network is working properly but as you can tell the network is not working properly. I can handle the slower speeds sometimes but the latency and packet loss is ridiculous. Constantly putting in support tickets but it never gets fixed. I might have to make that choice to switch to star link. I don't need the best internet or the fastest, I just want it to be reliable to a certain point. The 5g signal stays in the -90s which is pretty good.  It's ridiculous that Verizon claims that the network is working but clearly it's not

Hey there, Jasonmbarthle150, we know it's important to have reliable data for your Home Internet. How long have you been running into an issue with your speeds? Were you getting reliable 5G speeds previously? Has it helped to change the location of your gateway at all?

I had the same problem the same question I live in ZIP Code 28054 call Customer Service spent hours with tech-support and all I get is we see youโ€™re having a problem iโ€™m going to put in a ticket and escalate it is what they say still itโ€™s constant ever since mine started before the presidential debate. Itโ€™s gotten worse every day. My only solution now is to either a figure out a workaround meaning maybe a bridge or pass-through or another provider I canโ€™t continue to pay for something. Itโ€™s not working !!

Yeah that's exactly where I am at right now. I'm aware that it's not going to be the best latency being it's coming from a tower but once it reaches a very high latency and speeds below 10mbps then it becomes very unreliable. I might end up getting Star Link if I have to. I was kinda hoping for the t mobile one to be available since their network has grown to be bigger than Verizon. I pay for the 5g plus and that's not for the speed but to remove the streaming throttle they have locked at 10mbps for streaming. They won't call it throttling but its definitely locked at 10mbps for streaming unless your on the 5g plus.  I was even fine with the LTE plan I had in the past that ran 50mbps down but they have the streaming throttle on those plans locked at 10mbps as well.

What router are you using?

What is your 5G signal strength underneath the router status page?

Right now it's -95 and it usually stays around the -90s which is good signal. I spoke to another supervisor that had put in for more upgrades on the tower. Right now it's running 300 down with great latency but the issue is mostly happening at night and sometimes during the day. Hopefully this upgrade they claim they are doing will fix it. The supervisor I spoke to pretty much said it was a network issue but all my support tickets came back as network is working fine.
