5G Home Internet - where's my shipping label?

LoyalCustomer717

What is so hard about sending out a shipping label to return equipment? I don't understand why the Verizon 5G group can't seem to send me a return shipping label. The steps I've taken:

  1. Called several times (spending over an hour on the phone each time);
  2. Gone to 3 Verizon stores (1 in town, and 1 a half hour away - I went to that one twice)
  3. Done chat support 4 times
  4. Done Twitter Verizon support 2x
  5. Have requested a mailing label at least 7 times

I am now getting email "reminders" that I need to return the equipment or I'll be charged $200.  I could've stayed with T-Mobile to get this level of service. In fact, I jumped over to Verizon because this is the stuff that T-Mobile does. I guess all the biggies do it?

Where is my mailing label?

LoyalCustomer717, getting your label should definitely not be as difficult as it's been for you so far, and we want to make sure you get the return kit ASAP. We have a couple of different ways to try and send that label. We're sending you a Private Message so we can help you.

Hi,

I've now been charged $200 for not returning my equipment despite all of my efforts. WHERE IS MY SHIPPING LABEL? I don't understand why this is so hard? I've gone to 2 Verizon stores, called multiple times, used this forum, Twitter, Facebook, Verizon chat -- I still do not have a shipping label and you're charging me for this? This feels like a consumer rights issue at this point.

Hi,

I have the same issue with the return shipping label. So they couldnโ€™t help you to return the equipment at store?

Hello, Li20. Help is here as we can assist in getting you the return kit. So sorry to hear the services didn't work out for you. Just to confirm, is this regarding the Verizon Home Internet through the wireless side or for Fios?

I already returned the equipment with a shipping label that a store printed for me. I want my $200 refunded. The equipment has already arrived back at Verizon. I don't need a shipping label. I need a refund of the $200..

I already returned the equipment and it had been delivered to Verizon on April 18, 2024. I can show the proof of delivery, UPS tracking number 1Z1601VV9027906006. But Verizon still charged me $200.  I need a refund of the $200.

No, not really. They can't accept equipment on the internet side at the store. But, they can print you a shipping label and apparently it all goes to the same place. So I would ask for that.

I'm glad you were able to return your equipment, loyalcustomer717. It should be checked in in a few days by our warehouse team. Are you still seeing a charge on your My Verizon account? -Joe

I just got off the phone for the FIFTH time trying to get a shipping label to return my internet box and last week I was assured I wouldnโ€™t be charged the $200 fee. Guess what happened yesterday?? Charged. They really need to make it so you can return the boxes to the stores.

Hi, Peter. I had one of your Verizon stores print a label for me. I shipped it via FedEx. It has already arrived at Verizon. I'm not looking for another shipping label. I'm looking for a refund of the $200 that has been charged to my account.
