Leaving this here to help the next fellow as I couldn't find help through the community nor by calling the service desk. Verizon's service desk isn't particularly knowledgeable on their newer services, promos, and technologies. Not to mention their AI assistant definitely needs a lot more training.
If you ordered the 5G Home Plus plan, an extender will be shipped upon request. Otherwise, you'll have to buy one.
Just go to your 5G plan and select the option to have it shipped. Pic below (says 'Router & Whole Home Wifi Included')
