Anyway to manually initiate update on 3.2.0.21 on a ASK-NCQ1338?

System 8 is now out on the ASK-NCQ1338.  I was hoping this would fix the non-functional DDNS issue in 3.2.0.21.  

But there is no way that I, or a phone tech, could discover when on 3.2.0.21  to manually begin an update.  Did a factory reset but all that did was change everything back to the shipping config.  No update to the software when rebooting was completed.  Nor after I restored my saved settings.

It is frustrating that the phone tech kept suggesting I do a check for update when, on 3.2.0.21, there is no such option.  When he finally accepted that we tried the factory reset but no happiness.

Suggestions, if any?
