A representative from Verizon came to my home and presented a high-speed internet service. They installed a new router near my house, as I was in search of improved internet connectivity. Unfortunately, the service turned out to be slow and not as promised. I was informed that I could return the router to a Verizon store, which I did, and they assured me that I would not have to pay anything. However, a month later, I received a bill for $140. Believing it to be a mistake, I chose to disregard it. A few months later, I learned that this issue had been reported to all three credit bureaus, causing my credit score to drop by 130 points. This drop occurred while I was in the underwriting phase of securing a mortgage for my new home, leaving me uncertain about the status of my loan application. I find myself in a challenging situation and require assistance.

I reached out to them using the provided number and have settled the outstanding amount without utilizing Verizon's services. However, they informed me that they are unable to report to the credit bureaus directly, but Verizon has the capability to do so. How can I contact Verizon directly, as the number I have is routing me to the debt collection agency icsystems
