I finally ditched AT&T and went to Verizon for cell and internet services. Everything has gone smoothly until now. I have an HP ENVY 6000 printer which is controlled through an HP printer app. I have not been able to successfully set up the printer to work on the new wi-fi network. The printer searches for a wi-fi network, but can't find one. I even moved the 5G box right next to the printer! If I try to add the printer manually, I'm told to go to my wi-fi settings (on phone or laptop) and select "HP-Setup", but there is no such option to select!
Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions are appreciated!
Thank you!

I was able to fix the problem by doing a factory reset of my printer. It worked after that! Good luck!

download the "Smart printer for HP printer" app... when you open it up it'll come up to where you have to register just click the X at the top left then it will say something about a deal and at the very bottom and really light white letters it'll say "I'll pass" click on that and then it's pretty much straight forward from there and click next next next (up at the top right) and then it'll come to an ad (hit close) and then all the printers will pop up and you just click on HP and go from there it's pretty easy

- I have the same issue since I got Verizon internet. I have wasted so much time on chats and in the phone with Verizon and HP and I need to be able to print for school and my job. This is ridiculous.

It’s not initially getting connected. It’s when I go to connect any time through the day it says it’s busy because it can never re connect. However it’s connected to the internet.
i never had this issue with my other two providers so it’s unique to Verizon

Seems like your printer is having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi. Have you tried troubleshooting your printer by any chance? What steps have you taken? ~Geo

I will Google how to factor reset and give it a try. All was fine until I upgraded (ha) to new router. Now HP Envy Pro printer shows offline and won't print. I have deleted and reinstalled and still no luck. I have connected with a USB cable and am hoping this old school solution works.
