Cancelled order but Gift card not refunded

I placed an order on November 25- before thanksgiving day. Despite the approaching Christmas holiday, I have yet to receive my order. Until today my order got cancelled and Verizon never refunded my gift card and balance still says $0. (I guess that their way they treat their customers) In any case, what other options do I have, and have anyone else encountered similar issues? Verizon consistently presents a challenging experience.
