Cannot get gateway to work.

I recently signed up for the 5g home plus. Received my box in the mail yesterday and cannot get the thing to do anything. I followed instructions to a T but when I connect it tells me there is no internet. I've tried using the my Verizon app but that just gets me to my order status and won't do anything but error out when I click get order status. At this point I'm at a loss and frustrated that it's supposed to be a quick and easy set up but I cannot get anything to work.
