A few weeks ago I purchased the 5G Home Internet. It works great. I get 300mbps and it rarely goes down. My problem is with registering my 5G Home Internet with My Verizon account...
When I select "link a device" after signing into my Verizon, I have the option to link a 5G Home internet device. I select that option, and it takes me to a page where I either select "Register by phone number" or "Register by Account number."
For some bizarre reason, I cannot link my 5G Home Internet to My Verizon account. If I select to link it by phone number, and give it the phone number of my modem, it tells me this number cannot be linked.
If I try to link my 5G Home Internet by using my Account Number, I get a message stating only the owner may link the 5G Home internet to their My Verizon account. I AM THE OWNER!
I have spoken twice to Verizon customer service to fix the issue, and each time they tried to help, and eventually told me I had to go to an actual Verizon store to fix the matter. Twice I have visited an actual Verizon store, and they could not fix it. I am at wits end!
Why cant I link my 5G Home Internet to My Verizon account? Can someone please help me? I cant be the only person who has suffered this issue.
