I switched from Comcast and prior to the change it worked fine. I have tried several times, but it never connects. It says to check the router settings including the fact that certain ports are enabled/disabled. I have no idea how to do that. Has anyone found a solution to this?

I'm unsure - I did not have to open any ports for mine. I have a MyQ garage door and camera, and they both just work. The only issue I have had is if I reboot the router, it takes a few hours to re-connect.Most MyQ devices are 2.4Ghz. Have you tried creating a 2.4GHz IOT network in the router page and connecting to that?

You definitely have to have it on 2.4 only. What I did was change my guest network to 2.4 only and it works great and assigned it that network. This was with the help of MyQ customer Support.
