Is the option to distribute non-Verizon DNS servers via DHCP not available on the XCI55AX? From looking at the Advanced tab in the admin website, this looks to be the case. If that is the case, that's definitely not cool. Unless I'm missing something obvious.
I'd think most users would want to use Cloudflare, Google, or Quad9.
I see where it is assigned in Network Connections -> Broadband, but the dropdown to change it is not working and it looks disabled.
