I returned my 5G box, because it was sold to me as comparable to my Roadrunner service, which runs at 300+Mbps. The 5G box rarely broke 20Mbps and maxed out at about 50Mbps. I later saw that this is the expected max speed. I was completely misled on this. And even though I returned my box within 30 days, you all are calling me to collect on the bill. I have been on the phone with you for an hour now, and you can't get into my account!
If this is not resolved, I will make an FTC and state AG complaint about deceptive business practices. I will contact the FTC about the call to my cell number.
Please also confirm that the number I am on hold with now, 800-754-0961, is a Verizon number.

Update - Verizon just sent me a private message. This is a good development, and I'm hopeful we can resolve things there. Fingers crossed, and thanks for the response.

Well, Natasha from customer service was great and very responsive. Unfortunately, they want me to go back to a Verizon store to resolve this. That would be my third trip to a Verizon store in this saga, and I don't think that's reasonable. I've told them that if they call me again to collect on this invoice, I will make appropriate complaints.
Verizon - you should give Natasha a raise, as she was great.

Tried to log into my account to post again here, but the account had been deactivated, it looks like in retaliation for my complaint. They called me twice more on my mobile number using call ID info from a local pizza shop. Then they sent an email threatening to post bad information on my credit report. I had to go to a corporate store to get the issue resolved. The corporate rep agreed that this had been a nightmare.
I made an FCC complaint about the call and will make an FTC complaint.
Verizon - please private message me with an apology.

I am having the same issue. I had sales reps come to my door saying that they have the 30 day trial offer for the 5G box. They said I wouldn’t be charged until the next month if I decide to keep it. So I compared it to my current WiFi and decided to keep my original WiFi. I returned the 5G box at the end of the 30 days and now Verizon is trying to charge me for it. Even though I returned it. I can’t even access my Verizon account either because my email or phone number is not in the system anymore. Since I returned the 5G box.
