Door to door sales people

I had some young adults come to my door offering free trials of the Verizon wireless wifi box. 

They promised that the month trial was free, easy, and there would be a return slip included with the box when I receive it.

I received the box and there was no return slip included. I unplugged the box within the trial period so that I wouldn't get charged, and I had to go into a Verizon store in order to get a return slip myself, not at all the easy process that was falsely promised when I signed up for it. 

Because the box was sent back after 30 days, Verizon continued to charge me, and it was a huge hassle getting it resolved. It cost me over $100.

Don't trust any Verizon door to door sales.

I'm dealing with the same issue. Some Territory Manager came out to our apartment building preaching the gospel.

Now I'm stuck with 2 broken routers that they are threatening to charge me $400 for, telling me I need to return it to a store. The trip alone will cost me $30, no way.
