Can the Verizon 5G router also connect to devices that require a 2.4g connection? I have a new device to add to my home network but turns out if requires a 2.4 connection.

We definitely want to make sure you can connect a variety of different devices to your 5G Home internet network, New2WM. The great news is that all of our gateways offer the following Wi-Fi standards:
- 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/a
This means they cover both the 2.4 ghz and 5ghz spectrum of Wi-Fi.
Does this help answer your question?

I have a camera that requires 2.4Ghz and was told to add a 2.4Ghz wifi in your router. How do I do that?

Joseph, thank you. I was able to add that camera to the router. Turns out the 2.4 has the same name and password as the 5G.

Wonderful! We're glad to hear that you were able to add the camera to the 2.4 ghz network connection. We're a few clicks away if you need us!

Not really. I see no 2.4 ghz connection. Everything works except my garage door opener which works on 2.4.
