I received a flyer in the mail for NFL sunday ticket with signing up for 5G home internet and ignored it till a Verizon rep ( Josh ) called me on 8-[phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]. He told me I would get 300MB download speed and 20MB upload speed. I told him I had Cox broadband 500MB download and 12MB upload. I agreed that with the faster upload I wouldn't notice the slower download. He told me I would get NFL Sunday Day ticket and since I was laready a mobile customer it would only cost 45 per month. I told him I needed to speak with Cox before I make my decision and he gave me his contact number and sent me a text and he said he would contact me the following week. I decided to cancel my Cox plan and I tried to contact him but he never responded so I called another tech on 9-4 and had it setup to pickup at my local store and went and got it that day. I tried for 3hrs to get it operational with tech support and finally was transfered to someone who noticed the device was not activated by Verizon. After about 30 mins he had it activated and I was up and running. I have called your tech support several times since activation because my speeds are much slower than advertised and I haven't seen a redemption for NFL either. They claim they turned in a ticket to resolve but everytime I call they can't look it up. One Tech told me I had to wait 15 days for the redemption to be sent so after that time I started calling again. Last person I spoke to was Emma on 9-27 and she claims I don't have it. I spent 3 1/2 hrs on chat with her and another person and now I have a text message that says it will be resolved in 6 days. That would take this till [phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] before I get an answer and that is the end of my 30 day trial period. By the way I received another flyer in the mail offering me NFL ticket since I signed up. What is going on? Everybody on chat and phone give me a different story. I still have slow speeds and nobody is doing anything. I want the speeds and free NFL like I was offered. I suggested they send a tech to my house but that is obviously not going to happen because they know I will never see these speeds. I have tried to make this plan of Verizons work with numerous calls and chats but I'm tired of spending my time on it.

The last couple hours today I've gotten decent speeds. Did something get fixed or changed? averaging between 250 to 280 download and 6 to 7 upload

Saturday afternoon speeds were good. This is Sunday morning and back down to 46mb download and 9mb upload. These are the speeds I can't live with. It seems when I get a good download speed the upload suffers and slow download gives a better upload. Very inconsistent speeds. I have 18 devices hooked up 16 are on wifi and when the speed drops this low I have problems. Saturday afternoon speeds were the best I've ever had since hookup but they didn't stay there. I have never seen upload over 10mb and Verizon advertises 20mb. I have 3 bars on my gateway too. I never lose the connection but speeds are usually very slow

Checked Monday starting early morning till late afternoon speeds are 40 to 70 mb upload and 6 to 7 upload.

Tuesday same as Monday. I don't know what changed on Saturday afternoon. What are we doing about NFL ticket

Thursday morning speeds are 104mb download and only 3.89mb upload. Is Verizon going to address these issues or is this going to be the speeds I receive. If this is all I get I will need to look elsewhere. My 30 day trial is up [phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]

Saturday I ran the speedtest on Verizons website and downloads in the 80mb an uploads 3mb. I spoke with a Verizon tech on Friday because I was going to turn in the Gateway and a ticket was turned in. It is NRB000011701747. If speed can't get improved this month I will have to switch to a different provider. Speed varies but I check early morning till dusk and it was good only for the Saturday 9-28 I mentioned above all other times were slow. The Gateway always has 2 to 3 bars and connection on Verizons website shows good. I am sure Verizon knows what my speeds have been because it shows a usage report on my Gateway.

It looks like we are done with this internet service they claim my speeds are as expected yet they advertise 300mb download and 20mb upload. I have never seen these speeds so it is false advertising. i have been either on the phone or a chat so many times it's ridiculous. Everytime we start from scratch and go through the same story. The NFL Sunday ticket is a lie too because I've been waiting for a redemption code for 5 weeks. Nothing but lies. How many actually got the NFL? I've read the posts and it doesn't look good. 3hrs on chat today with 3 different techs. How many customers would try this hard to make it work. I give up it's not worth my time

Yeah I gave up on my Sunday Ticket. I can't imagine anyone actual got it to work. I didn't switch to Verizon just to get that but it is just a big S--c---a---m. Haha what a joke company. S---c--a--m is consindered a "bad" word.

I canceled my 5g internet service on 10-16-24 and took the Gateway to a store and they wouldn't take it. I then chatted with an agent who said they would send me a return shipping label. It's been 7 days and I don't have that either. I want to get rid of this thing. Where is my shipping label.?
