Extremely slow in the afternoons

I recently started using the Verizon 5G internet device.  I get a good signal in the mornings, but it slows down significantly in the afternoons starting about noon.  This goes into the evening and happens every day.  I work from home and this is a significant problem.  I live in the Sacamento California area.  

I find I also have to reset the device multiple times per week  due to the signal dropping altogether.  

I have tried setting up the device in multiple places in the home and get no signal.  I have it placed up 6 ft high in an east facing window.
