I signed up for Verizon 5G plus Wireless internet on October 16 and was told that I would receive an email where I was able to get a free HomePod. I have not received any email or seen anything on my app saying that I will receive it. Please reach out to me with the process on how to do this. The only reason I chose Verizon internet over other cheaper but equal service options was for this $300 value โgiftโ. Please tell me that this was not just a bait and switch tactic to increase the sale of the product.

marioale, not to worry happy to offer some help on that promotion. Now for any equipment promotion related to the purchase of a 5G Home, you'd see that in My Verizon. When you sign-in, there's a section on the main page that is listed 'Make the Most of Your Plans' which will have tiles with different recommendations or suggestions. If you sign-in and look at that section, a qualifying 5G Home promotion would be there. You do not need to wait to recieve an email related to it, though usually one is sent reminding you qualify. Have you looked at that section of My Verizon?

same issue. I bought Verizon home internet 10/2023. I chose the free HomePod promotion over the $200 gift card. Tried to claim after I purchased the internet box. Told I have to wait 30 days to have had active service score I could claim. Tried to claim at that time told I had to have active service 90 days before I could claim. At 90 days tried to claim and customer service was dumbfounded and that no such promotion existed. Called at least 6-7 more times and numerous chats through the next 5-6 months. 3 times I was told it was resolved and would be on the way. Yeah right. Never was. Last call I made there is no ticket or any notes about such calls or chats & promotion never existed. I was at my wits end with this. I still want my promotional item. I am back in this again after taken a much needed mental break from the never ending runaround & made to feel that what I was requesting as to what was offered/ promised to sign up for home internet never existed. Now the issues with the outrageously high bill I receive month after month & not being able to activate subscriptions that come with my plan start once again. I need this resolved as it was promised. Patience with all this is gone. Iโve probably spent 10 hours on calls and another 6-8 hours on chats for this promotion that never happens.

I signed up for their 5G Home Internet back in October 2023 under the same exact promotion. Never received an email with instructions to redeem for my free HomePod. I have messaged and called Verizon support at least 6-8 times over the past several months. I'm always told it's being processed and will receive an email within x number of business days. Never happens. I've heard so many promises from their support staff. I feel so jerked around and lied to. If I had a better internet option I would drop Verizon in a heartbeat.
TERRIBLE support for this and other promotions. These message boards are filled with people complaining about this and other sign-up promotions that they have never received.
On my last call with them, the agent actually had the nerve to try and get me to sign-up for another line of service to give me my "free" iPhone. Worst support ever. I truly hope that enough people complain and bug them until they fix this stuff. Or maybe they're so big they don't care how many customers they lie to and upset. There are always more.
Zero stars. Big thumbs down. Do NOT recommend. Best of luck everyone.

I am happy to report that after responding to and speaking with vzw_customer_support they were able to get everything straightened out with the free HomePod promotion. I'm not sure why it wasn't this simple that last 8 times I contacted Verizon support, but this time it was super simple and they shipped the HomePod right out to me. Received it today! Thank you, Verizon, for helping me resolve this and for fulfilling the promotion as promised.
