Gateway Return

I signed up for the 5G home internet after being talked into it at the verizon store in a very deceptive way, promising a free first month trial, but never specified that it was only free if I returned it after a month, so I ended up being charged double for the verizon internet as well as the comcast internet that I had not cancelled because i was supposed to be TRIALLING the verizon.

Anyways, I moved to a new address shortly after where verizon did not support internet service. So i went back to the same store to return the internet gateway equipment. They told me  I can't return it in store, I have to wait for a shipping label and box to come in the mail. I did as directed, mailed it back with the provided box and shipping label the same day that i received it. I have the tracking information with UPS showing it was delivered to the verizon return center in Whiteland Indiana. Verizon charged me $217.04 extra  on my phone bill to buy the equpiment, even though I returned it. I can't dispute the charge because it was tied in with my phone bill which is debited directly from my bank account, and I don't want to have my phone service turned off for non payment. 

I've gone through the customer support channels - the store claims they can't help me with anything. I've done phone calls, emails, chats - spent MULTIPLE HOURS with customer support. Multiple times they have said yes I was wrongly charged and they are issuing a credit but it is pending manager approval and I should hear back in 48 hours. I never hear back. Its been nearly a month.
