I’m thinking about going to a different provider. Maybe downgrading my plan with Verizon at minimum. I pay for gigabit internet. Even when speeds are good I average less than 200MBs. Not the guaranteed 300MBs minimum. Never gotten that. During the day I’m only getting 3-12MBs on wifi. 7-22MBs on Ethernet. Averaging around 13MBs on Ethernet. I tested my Ethernet cable with a cable tester too. I am extremely disappointed. That I have never fully received this service. As promised. That I pay a premium for. I’m thinking it’d be better to switch to another provider, because Verizon has been pretty unhelpful in general.

I would re-read your terms of service. There's no "guaranteed" anything.
I would go to your signal strength on your router options/settings - if you aren't getting UW (Ultra wideband) you won't get close to gigabit anyway.
The times I hit the 300mbit (NOT MB) are late at night when most are sleeping.

We are concerned to read about your service experience with your 5G home internet. How long has this been an issue? Have you ever received faster speeds? Have we completed any prior troubleshooting with you?
