Horrible Internet Speed Variability

I recently upgraded my phone and was offered the 5G verizon home internet/wifi service for basically little to no extra cost (compared my prior normal monthly bills). I agreed to test it out for the trial month. I work from home with lots of video meetings and the device seemed to work great with consistent speeds well above my existing broadband service (I'm in a rural area). I was happy with it and canceled my other service. Fast forward to after my trial period was up and the service has been horrible during work hours. It seems to comes in waves with peaks that are great followed by troughs that are terrible (I had 1.96 mbps DL speed today!, sometimes its worse). The troughs often seem to be short duration but I cannot get through a 30 min to 1 hr video meeting without having multiple drop-outs now.  So today I connected computer to my company supplied verizon iphone in wifi hotspot mode and it was great - several video meetings with no drop-outs so go figure that one out.  Unless this gets fixed  it looks like I'll need to cancel my non functional verizon home internet/wifi service and go back to my old slower but actually reliable broadband.
