I bought a new smart doorbell last week on Amozon prime day, and it is only compatible with 2.4 GHz. As the Verizon router is only 5 G, please help me figure out how to add the 2.4 GHz. I cant locate how to do this on the Verizon website.Diesnt have an option to disable SON that I can find. Do I have to to take the router back to the store to have them modify settings ? Thank you for any advice. I am far from tech savvy,am a 72 retired nurse with little knowledge about how to do these things myself !

Here's what I just worked out using some comments from Verizon I found on this forum. I can't vouch for anything, but it's the best I can put together!
- In your web browser, go to the Network Settings URL using the password printed on the bottom of your modem.
- I got a scary Not Secure warning but I went ahead anyway!
- Go to the Advanced tab
- Click on Wi-Fi
- Click on IoT Network
- Click on Wi-Fi Enable
That should activate a new separate 2.4 ghz network. I hope this works for you! And me too, I haven't tried to connect to it yet....

Thanks . I was able to figure it out last night at 2 am. I do my best thinking at that time ! I would not be able to tell anyone else how I got the smart doorbell connected, but I am just happy to have it onnected to my Wi-Fi.
