I been charged $40 after I return 5G home internet during free trial

A Verizon person came to my door and offered 5G wireless 30 day free trial. If you don't like it, return it and you won't be charged.

Setup required several online chats because I'm not a Verizon wireless customer and their setup thinks I should have a Verizon phone number or account.

It didn't work for me. The big issue was the ping time, which was often over 1 second. This caused timeouts and malfunctions in apps and web pages.

I canceled service during trial and returned the device. Now I received $40 bill for that. I can't get hold of customer service since verizon disconnected account already.  How can I get help?
