Is my Verizon 5G Home Internet Gateway working correctly?

I've had the ARC-XCI55AX Gateway for almost a week, and the speeds are not what I expected.  😐

From what I was told in store, I would get at least 85 Mbps  and possibly up to  300Mbps download, 10Mbps upload.

But my speeds haven't been near that.   They've been averaging  70 - 79 Mbps  DL,  4-12 Mbps UL.     😧

I got plenty of signal with 3-4 towers close by.   My internet connection hasn't dropped at all.   It's only the speed that's the issue.

Anyone else having/had similar problems?   Could it be the ARC-XCI55AX Gateway I have is faulty, and needs to be replaced?   Any other reasons for this?

It's important that you be able to enjoy high speeds on your 5G Home Internet Gateway device. From what you've shared, it sounds like we're pretty close to the 85Mpbs UL and 10 Mbps DL minimum speeds. I know you mentioned that you haven't experienced any disconnects, but do you experience any latency when connected to your 5G Home device? What devices are connected to your Internet Gateway?

I just ran a speed test:

70.62 Mbps DL
7.47 Mbps UL
26 ms Latency (ping)

Here's my internet setup:

5G Home Internet Gateway (Ethernet) connected to my Linksys Wired/Wireless Router

Linksys Router (Ethernet) connected to Windows PC

Linksys Router (Ethernet) connected to Smart HDTV (Turned off not being used)

Linksys Router (Ethernet) connected to TP Powerline*

Linksys Router (Wi-Fi) connected to Laptop (Turned off not being used)

Linksys Router (Wi-Fi) connected to Tablet (Turned off not being used)

*TP Powerline (Ethernet) connected to ROKU

*TP Powerline (Ethernet) connected to Amazon FireTV

*TP Powerline (Ethernet) connected to Tablo

My PC, ROKU, Amazon FireTV, Tablo all seem to be working fine.   All are connecting, and staying connected.   I have the 5G Home Internet Gateway Wi-Fi disabled because my Router handles my Wi-Fi.

Like I posted my speeds are just slow.   Could it be my Verizon 5G Home Internet Gateway is faulty and needs to be replaced?

🤔I replied with the info. you asked about.    What do you think the problem with my internet speed is?

Is my ARC-XC155IAX a faulty unit, or something else?

You mentioned that your router handled your Wi-Fi. Would it be possible to try testing your data speeds with the Wi-Fi provided by the gateway instead?
