Issues redeeming Nintendo Switch from 5G internet promo

I added 5g internet to my plan on 5/10 and set it up on 5/15. I switched to 5g service instead of another internet provider since there was a promotional offer of a free Nintendo switch or $200 gift card after 65 days of service. I received an email 7/15 saying my offer was ready to redeem as well as the tile on my dashboard, so I follow the directions and receive an error message saying:

We're sorry.
There was an error when adding this Nintendo Switch or $200 The Home Depot Gift Card promotion to your verizon account.
Please try again later

I have used both the myverizon app, browser on my cell phone, and safari and chrome on my laptop. Deleted and redownloaded the app, cleared cashes. Everything that the forums say to do. Now when I try to redeem, the Home Depot gift card is unavailable.

After multiple chat attempts and being redirected multiple times, I spoke to someone on the phone last week and was told I would be receiving an email with a resolution. I have yet to get any real help with this issue and am considering switching internet providers, especially since it seems I won't be receiving the nintendo switch anyway.
