I have a problem going to some sites (while most of the sites are working).
The problem sites are
https://www.paypal.com/signin - specifically paypalobjects.com like https://www.paypalobjects.com/images/shared/glyph_alert_critical_big-2x.png
linkedin - specifically static.licdn.com/
the problem causes the sites to keep spinning and not show up. anybody has a solution to this?

If you are running in passthrough mode, then see this thread. The problem is most likely a firmware update to your Verizon gateway that caused an issue for passthrough mode.
The symptoms are that some (not all) websites don't load properly or timeout completely. The fix is to adjust some settings in your router (not the gateway) to workaround the issue.

Assuming you are using your own router, if not my info is mute. Due to a bug in last few FW releases, you will see this issue if you have Passthru or DMZ enabled. Sadly the only way I don't see this is by running stock double NAT
