Returned equipment during free trial and there are charges on my account

A Verizon representative came to our door and offered 5G wireless with 30 day free trial. We  just had to return it within the 30 days for no charge.  We tried 2 different routers and it did not work because there is no coverage in the area we live.  The representative should know it. So after the second one, they closed the account and we returned both routers. We received the confirmation email that both routers were received.

We thought that it was all resolved, but for our surprise, we start seeing charges on our account. So after many many hours on the phone (waiting and speaking to about 10 different people), the issue has not been resolved. I got the runaround and they keep saying that there is nothing to do because account has been closed.

Well, its questionable  to us since they close the account, add charges and after that they say there is nothing to be done about it. If you dont pay they send you to collections.

We expect zero balance on our Verizon account as promised.

We need a representative to contacts us and get it resolved as soon as possible. Thank you!
