Slow speed

I started using the 5 G Home internet mid Feb and all work great very high speeds 100+ download. Suddenly this week speeds dropped to 14 and is very slow downloading. I went through all the recommendations moving gateway and rebooting and speeds remain very low. I am very close to several towers so only conclusion is Verizon ability to proceed reasonable speed has a problem or my gateway is not working properly.

If you read other posts on the forums - this doesn't tell us anything. "IT DONT WORK".

What router do you have?

What firmware is it on? (If you are not sure, connect to the router by the default gateway, and go to system status) - while you are there, what is the 5G signal status?

Do you know how to run a ping from a Windows command prompt? "ping 192.168.0.1" and report what you get? How about ping on a website, and what you get?

What times are you expecting these speeds? My router peaks between 2am-? and I set my downloads for such. During the daytime, I get 100mbps, but it's still better than anything else for the price.
