Trying to Return 5G Internet Devices

I've been trying to return this 5G home internet device for the past 3 months.  I've called Verizon 6 times and every time I'm being told that the kit is on its way. In some cases, it's been expedited; however, it has never been delivered.  The store won't take it back either.  I've even asked for a label and that didn't work.  I'm at the point where I'm thinking I need to move away from Verizon as this is a quite simple request and they can't get it done.  I've been with Verizon for 20+ years and the customer service has drastically diminished.  I get the feeling, this is the new norm, and they don't care about their customers.   They've routed me from the customer service team to another team to the sales team then back to the customer service team.  In total I've been on the phone in excess of 12 hours trying to get this device returned.  This is unacceptable.
