Hello all,
I have been using the Verizon 5G Home Internet service (white sugar cube gateway) for a full two months now, and in my particular case, so far so good. Consistently averaging 100 mbps or a bit more download speed and 10 mbps or a bit more upload speed, anytime of the day or night, even during any adverse weather conditions.
I was surprised on just how simple and fast it was to get the gateway working. I took a chance, and just randomly chose my kitchen countertop as a first-try spot to get a good connection-to-the-5G tower signal and it seems to be ideal. It is right near (within 5 ft.) a window on the kitchen door. The wi-fi range covers my entire house.
The promotional deal I received back in December 2023 was a $50.00 Amazon gift card (e-card). As long as the service stays as stable and reliable as it is now, I will be staying with Verizon. If anything major changes with the speed and reliability, I will post an update accordingly.
