Unable to Redeem $200 Amazon Gift Card

I received an email notifying me that my Amazon gift card was available to redeem. I follow the links accordingly, and as I try to redeem through the My Verizon app, I get an error message and nothing happens. No gift card, not in my email, spam, nothing. I tried this multiple times and got said error message every time and never received my gift card.

 

This was yesterday. 

 

Today I don't even have the option to redeem through My Verizon. The button that should be under, "Make the Most of My Plans," is completely gone, nothing at all mentioning the gift card.

 

Why does this have to be so hard? This was the entire reason I decided on Verizon to begin with. I will be looking into other options for home internet if this issue isn't resolved in a timely manner.
