Verizon Accusing me of not Returning Home Internet Gatewats

I returned 3 x gateways and UPS confirmed delivery in late August. That was 60 days ago and Verizon is charging me $600 for non return fees. Verizon is crooked and a bunch of lying thief’s with incompetent service support I have spent more than 3 hours on the phone with no resolution. I have been promised phone calls back with nothing heard and they state they are opening a ticket for me to call back and no ticket opened. I had to pay the $600 to keep from going to collections. I plan on taking them to consumer protection and to my state’s attorney general office. I hope Verizon is fin d by the FTC and is forced to answer to Congress.

Same thing happened to me--I returned my cube router but Verizon still withdrew $$ from my account for non-return. I had proof of delivery. Don't waste your time with Verizon customer service agents on the phone or this forum. They don't know how to fix this (or they'll lie to you about it). I got the same false promises of call back, etc.
File a complaint directly with the BBB and your complaint will be elevated to Executive Relations. They are US based and more responsive and competent. That is the only way I was able to get my money back. Good luck.
