Verizon DNS servers have been slow for days

I have Verizon 5G Home Internet service that typically works great. So, when an issue occurs, it's pretty noticeable. A couple days ago, I began to notice every device having long load times for web pages and the content on the pages.
After performing basic network troubleshooting I have determined the root cause to be inconsistent speed for name resolution when using the default Verizon DNS servers (IPv4 & IPv6). This leads me to two questions:
- How do I report this to Verizon Technical Support?
- I would be surprised if the folks running the infrastructure aren't already aware, but it's been occurring for days now, so maybe I'm wrong?
- Is there any way to set custom DNS servers in the ASKEY NCQ1338FA Modem/Wi-Fi router?
- I have looked everything I can think (and I even RTFM) but I cannot find a way to custom configure DNS servers for clients that obtain their IP addresses from the NCQ1338FA via DHCP.
