Verizon Forward 6 months free promotion denied

I called and signed up for Verizon Forward Internet on 12/30/2024. I was informed that the internet device would arrive in 2 business days, after which I should activate the service and call back to receive the 6-month free discount. I received the invoice via email shortly after the call.

After waiting about a week without receiving the device, I called again and was told by the agent that the first order did not go through despite receiving confirmation emails. The agent placed the order again. When I asked about the 6-month free promotion, he assured me that they would apply the discount once my service was active. I received the device and activated it on 1/11/2025. I submitted proof of Verizon Forward eligibility, which was approved.

When I called to inquire about the 6-month free promotion today, the agent was not aware of the promotion and suggested I called lifeline, and I was denied the 6 month free promotion. The initial order was placed on 12/30/2024 and activated on 1/11/2025, which shall make me eligible based on the terms below. What options do I have at this point?

I spoke with a representative, but my issue remains unresolved. I placed an order on 12/30/2024, received a "Please Complete Your Order" email while on the phone, clicked the link, and submitted the order. The rep confirmed, and I received a completion email with a tracking number. After waiting a week and receiving nothing, I called again on 1/7/2025. Another rep couldn't determine the problem and placed a new order. I received the device this time, but was told my order was now ineligible for the 6-month free promotion because it was placed on 1/7/2025. My original order was placed on 12/30/2024, and Verizon's error caused this issue. I am disappointed and will file complaints with BBB and AG, and post about this experience on Facebook.
