12/22/2022 - Submitted $50 rebate form, confirmation email sent to me. Email address confirmed.
12/22/2022 - Received notice via email I can expect rebate 02/09/2023. Email provides a Check My Status link with a tracking number.
02/10/2023 - Rebate still not received. Clicking Check My Status link with tracking number shows rebate was sent to my email address. (It was not received in my Inbox nor Spam folder.) Resubmit button checked. Returned with "Your reissue request was successful. Please allow 24 hours for your reward email to be received."
02/11/2023 - Rebate still not received. Initiated chat to try to resolve issue. Chat suggested I try a phone call. Phone call that was with 'Mike' was cut off with no resolution. An hour through this process Chat suggested a different number. 'Shana' called and suggested I continue to wait two more days, at which time she would call me at 9:15am on 02/13/2023 to check back to see if I have received rebate. She suggested I have a different email address ready to go in case I still get no rebate and she would try again using new address. I created a new yahoo address.
02/13/2023 - 9:30am. Call from Shana never comes. I call the number and start the process over. I explain to new person about not getting rebate and I suggest I use new email address. She takes down my information and says she will resubmit using this new email address and that it may take two billing cycles to get my rebate.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? What does it take to get a rebate?
Verizon, I already did the 'wait for two months' game with you. I am tired of waiting and am willing to take further legal action if you do not solve my rebate issue, let alone lose a customer.
