I have 5G home internet with ASK-NCQ1338FA gateway. The gateway is in our living room on the first floor. The signal to our roku in our master bedroom on the second floor isn't as strong as we had with comcast and my netgear router. Consequently, we've been getting buffering. I thought about connecting my router to my verizon gateway and turning off the wifi. The problem I have with this is that my router is Wifi 5 and I know the Verizon gateway router is Wifi 6. I don't know if this would really make a difference or not. Should I get a wfi extender? If so, which one would you recommend? Or should I connect my router and turn off the gateway wifi?
